Revell RMS Titanic 1/570 Scale

This model has been around for quite some time now. It's considered a classic starter kit. Most of the pieces are pre assembled and ready to be glued to the kit. Due to the size of this kit (@ 18.5" long), there isn't much detail on this model when you look at it at close range. If you stand back a bit it tends to look a little better, but isn't that true with just about anything?
You do have the option of putting on rigging and cables on this kit, but it doesn't need to have it to give it a better look. In fact, if the wrong size thread is used, it will just look to big and bulky and take away from the overall look. There used be a version of this model that came with all of the paints as well. I'm not sure if this is still around. Call aound to your local hobby stores to find out.
